SURFCAM V5 has been released to the public. This release includes many new features and added functionality that are designed to give NC programmers complete control over their machining environment as well as offering an easy-to-use CAM system.

Among the features implemented in V5 are: new 3-axis Z-Finish routines, Multiple Tool Rest-Roughing, Viewable C-view planes for enhanced visualization, an updated lathe package and many additions to 4- and 5-axis toolpaths. SURFCAM V5 also contains many substantial updates to both 2- and 3-axis TRUEMill® toolpaths.
